New minimal logo designs collection #1
Logo re-design collection of the most minimal and coolest new brand identity designs of the week from sports media brand to a one of the most used applications on our smartphones.
The World Game is a television show broadcast on SBS, an Australia's public broadcasting radio, online, and television network that brings the world of soccer to Australians got a new brand identity. Now that they have a major online presence through its mobile app and is preparing for the upcoming Football World Cup 2018, the brand made the choice to take a fresh new and minimal look. The key point is in the letter "O" which is a keystone shape that has the majority of the soccer balls in the world, in addition to that they added the SBS logo. This logo was designed by Frost* Design.
Swiss Films the representative and ambassador nationally and internationally for Swiss film productions now has a new brand identity. A completely text based design that brings more simplicity to the brand designed by Studio NOI. This new logo came from a serif and classic typography to a modern and simple font called Maria designed by Paul Baber that also put more emphasis in the whole text rather than stand out one word over the other.
Mezz is the brand behind the programming concerts and organizing festival and events of pop music/culture in Breda. The new logo is designed by Das Buro and leaves the combination mark to become a wordmark with the main tweak in the ZZ combination that brings balance to wherever the logo is placed. The color now is more pop culture themed in my opinion.
And now the most popular re-design for the year maybe, the YouTube logo. I don't have to explain what YouTube is obviously but, the new design is all about that icon. Was designed in-house so all the credits are for Google and like I said the icon is the most important thing in the logo, they drop the red TV allegoric shape from the "Tube" word to move it as an icon so it can stand on its own like in our smartphones screens. The font has this slightly tweaks to make it look bolder and show the whole brand name on its own for the first time.
